The Dunham Technique Seminar was an outgrowth of the PATC.  Through its annual conference gathering, the Dunham Technique Seminar perpetuated a tradition of being a unifying force for dance and humanities professionals to share and network with each other, meet and interact with legends of dance, and highly-acclaimed professional dancers who provided counsel, guidance and direction to the future education and development of performing artists.  The certification process was implemented through the Dunham Seminar.  Below is a list of those persons who actively and consistently participated in the seminar, and/or received the rigorous training, and subsequently met the requirements to be deemed "certified" by Katherine Dunham prior to her transition:
